Asato case studies
Asato's case studies, one per customer engagement. Each states who the customer is, what Asato found, what the customer approved and what it saved. Every figure is labeled Found, Approved or Saved and carries its scope and its period. Named customers are CDW, Zymo Research and FTC Solar. Two customers are described, not named, at their request.

Not a fit
- Product detail. See the platform page.

How to read the figures
- Found. Asato found it and priced it.
- Approved. A named owner at the customer approved the fix.
- Saved. The saving has been made. Saved figures are agreed jointly by the customer and Asato at the close of the engagement.
- Saved, as reported by the customer. The customer states the saving in its own words. No exact figure is published.
- Measured. The figure is not a saving: it describes scope, coverage or evidence. A review score is marked G2 rating.
- Found, Approved and Saved are the only three states of a saving. They are separate figures and are never added together.

Questions
Which customers are named?
CDW, Zymo Research and FTC Solar. Two customers are described, not named, at their request. They are two different organizations.
Which case study reports a Saved figure?
"An enterprise with 75,000 Microsoft seats saved $4M a year at its Microsoft renewal." Saved figures are agreed jointly by the customer and Asato at the close of the engagement. Zymo Research and FTC Solar report savings in their own words. Those are labeled "Saved, as reported by the customer" and carry no exact figure.
Are Found, Approved and Saved ever added together?
No. They are separate figures. A figure that is Found may later be Approved, and a figure that is Approved may later be Saved, so adding them would count the same money more than once.
Why are two customers not named?
Their names are withheld at the customers' request. One is described as a large US health system (the idle hardware story), and the other as an enterprise with 75,000 Microsoft seats (the Microsoft renewal story), with the scale descriptors each story gives.
