Asato.AI bolsters its board of directors with the addition of industry veterans Lip-Bu Tan and Kumar Sreekanti

Asato.ai, the startup pioneering a Business Observability Solution for CIOs has announced that tech veterans Lip-Bu Tan and Kumar Sreekanti have joined as board members.

Asato.ai has raised a $7.5M seed round, co-led by Intel Capital and Lip-Bu Tan, to launch the industry’s first AI-powered enterprise CIO Copilot platform. Founded by seasoned tech leaders Sundari Mitra and Anush Mohandass, Asato leverages AI and knowledge graphs to give CIOs real-time visibility and actionable insights for managing enterprise IT.

Asato has launched an AI-powered Copilot platform built specifically for CIOs, aiming to solve challenges like data sprawl, shadow IT, and lack of visibility in hybrid cloud environments. By using AI and knowledge graphs, the platform helps CIOs discover, contextualize, and optimize IT assets—empowering smarter decisions and driving cost savings amid growing digital complexity.

Asato, founded by NetSpeed’s Sundari Mitra and Anush Mohandass, is building an AI copilot to help CIOs manage complex IT systems. It automates discovery, analysis, and decision-making across IT assets—saving time and boosting efficiency. Backed by Intel Capital, Asato aims to ensure “No CIO Left Behind.”
